Spa Policies

FIRST VISIT

We ask that our guests arrive 10 minutes prior to your first service to allow ample time to check-in and prepare for your treatment. All guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in for their first visit.

LATE POLICY

For clients arriving late to their appointments please note that we are often booked back to back and will only be able to give you the remaining time in your session. In these cases, the full session fee will apply. Appointments missed by 15 minutes or more are cancelled and subject to future fees.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY

We ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you must cancel or reschedule your appointment.

We understand that things come up unexpectedly so to be fair, we give you a total of 3 strikes! After 3 strikes you will need to prepay for your future appointments.

Strike 1: Will advise you of the No Show & Cancellation Policy

Strike 2: You will be charged for ½ of your previously booked service upon your next appointment.

Strike 3: You will no longer be able to ‘reserve’ time without paying for our time in advance.

 We offer appointment reminders by email or text message.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY

When you book an appointment with one of our massage therapist, that time slot is specifically reserved for you and other clients are turned away. We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. Should you need to cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice or you do not show up for your scheduled appointment you are subject to a $45 charge.

The Spa accepts Cash, MasterCard, Visa and Debit

QUIET ENVIRONMENT

As a courtesy to other guests; please maintain a quiet level of conversation. We ask that you turn your cell phones to silent or vibrate as to not disrupt other guests. We ask that children not be brought to appointments in consideration of our other guests.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift Certificates are available in dollar amounts beginning at $25 and are not redeemable if lost or stolen. If you are a recipient of a donated or prize Gift Certificate, please note that these certificates have expiry dates. Please advise our receptionist at the time of booking your appointment that you will be redeeming a gift certificate. Gift Certificates can be redeemed for services or retail products. Gift Certificates are non-transferable and have no cash value.

We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

THERAPISTS

While we will make every effort to meet your requests, we cannot guarantee a specific therapist. Please inform receptionist at the time of booking if you prefer to have a certain Therapist.

 

OUR STRICT HYGIENE POLICIES

Hand Washing
Hand washing is required before and between providing services to each client. An anti-bacterial soap is used to sanitize the hands and the exposed portions of arms before providing services and after drinking, eating and using the bathroom.

Gloves
A new pair of sterile nitrile medical exam gloves are used for every appropriate service. These medical-grade gloves are made from 100% synthetic nitrile polymer, a special material that resists contamination. This material offers the strength and flexibility of latex without the potential threat of latex allergy.

Counter Tops & Floors
All counter tops, surfaces, door handles and cabinetry are disinfected and sanitized numerous times during the day.

Bed Coverings
A new disposable medical bed covering is laid out for each client to minimize any chance of cross contamination between services. Bed sheets, blankets and pillow coverings are also changed after every client.

Wax Application
All waxing implements are disposable. A new applicator is used every time wax is applied to a client. This assures that the wax will never become contaminated.

Manicure & Pedicure
All porous implements, nail files, buffer blocks and wooden sticks, for manicures and pedicures are disposable and are discarded or given to the client following each treatment. Foot soaking is performed in a plastic bowl with a disposable plastic liner that is thrown away after every client. The soaking bowl is sterilized with anti-bacterial soap and hot water and then sprayed and sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectant after each use.

Tool Sanitation
All tools, implements and equipment are cleaned then disinfected by complete saturation and immersion for 20 minutes in Accel, an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant that is bactericidal, viruscidal, fungicidal and pseudomonacidal.

After the disinfecting solution, all tools are then placed in a sealed sterilization pouch and stored until used by the next client. Dirty tools are not used again until properly cleaned and disinfected according to the procedures stated in this policy.
